"Problem Solved"
Rescue Squad 18 carries a large array of rescue equipment which allows her crew to solve almost and situation. This equipment includes a 6 tool Hurst Rescue System, used during vehicle extrication, a Rescue Jack System, large amounts of cribbing and stabilization equipment, as well as multiple hand tools and a compliment of ground ladders. Rescue 18 also carries a full compliment of rope rescue equipment and harnesses used for High-Angle and above/below grade rescues. Rescue 18 can carry up to 8 personnel and also serves as a Special Service Unit on both first-due and mutual aid structure assignments.

Engine 181 is a 1250 G.P.M. pumper with a 150' 1.5" Bumper line, 200' 1.5" Attack Line, 400' 1.5" Attack Line, 250' 2" Attack Line, 800' Bundle Load and 1600' of 3" Supply Line. Engine 181 also carries various hand tools and equipment required for a Class A Pumper. Engine 181's first run was a working fire in Glenn Dale.
