I the morning hours on Saturday November 29, 2025, Tower 18 and Chief 18B (Meullion) responded to the 6500 Block Louise Street, in box area 18-03, for a caller reporting the house was on fire. The company arrived to find a 2 story split level with an outside in fire on the a delta side, extending into the attic. Chief 18B established the Glenn Dale command and requested the Working Fire Dispatch. The tower crew began its pre-assigned duties, with the inside team reporting to the second floor to complete searches and open up while the outside team began deploying portable ground ladders and the bucket. The fire was quickly knocked by Engine Co. 48 and the searches of the structure were negative. Extension was found in the attic and quickly controlled. Crews remained on scene completing overhaul and pulling siding before returning to service.
