On June 19th, 2026, Rescue Engine 18 was alerted as the search company on box alarm 46-07. Units with Battalion Chief 1 were alerted for a mattress fire in the bedroom in the 12400 Block Kingsview Street and arrived to find a 2-story single family dwelling with fire showing from the second floor. Rescue Engine 18 arrived as the first arriving special service and completed primary searches throughout the structure, which were negative. The crew operated for roughly 1-1/2 hours before returning to service. This marked the 5th working fire for the company in 8 days.
