On Tuesday 2/10/26, Tower 18 and Chief 18 responded to an attic fire on Brightlea Dr in Co. 48’s area. The Tower arrived and operated as the first due special, completing primary searches and opening up. The Chief held the Lanham command. During this incident, a second crew was staffed and handling other incidents, one of them being a personal injury accident with reported entrapment in Co. 19’s area.

In the early hours of Thursday 2/19/26, Engine 181 responded as the second due engine company for a house fire in Co. 16’s area. The crew deployed a backup line and assisted with extinguishment.

On Saturday 2/21, Tower 18 responded to the area of Mary Bowie Pkwy/Bottsford Ave in Co. 43’s area for a reported townhouse fire. Companies had fire in multiple units of a lightweight townhome. The Tower operated as the second due truck.

Later in the evening on Saturday 2/21, Tower 18 responded to the 8300 BLK Zug Rd in Co. 19’s area for a house on fire. Engine Co. 19 arrived with fire showing from a 2 story split foyer home. The Tower crew operated as the first due truck, deploying portable ground ladders, completing primary searches and opening up for the engine companies.
