On July 5, 2024 just after 2:30 am,  just after returning from a box alarm in Company 28’s area, Engine 181 was alerted as the second due engine for a box alarm in the 9900 BLK of Doubletree Terrace in Company 6’s area. While units were en route, Squad 18 cleared a vehicle accident and was added to the assignment as the search company. Engine 33 arrived to a 3 story end of the row townhouse with fire showing. Engine 181 picked up 33’s line and the crew stretched a back up line to assist with extinguishment. Squad 18 arrived shortly after and completed searches of the fire unit, which were negative and assisted with opening up. This was the second working fire in a 24 hour period for Company 18.
