Glenn Dale had a busy start to November 2026. On Wednesday 11/5, Engine Company 18 went back to back in the first due, extinguishing a garage fire in the 7800 Block of Quasar Terrace. Chief 18 (Postell, as the Volunteer Duty Chief) held the command. 2-1/2 hours later, the Wagon and the A Chief (Wood) responded to the 4500 Block of Running Deer Way, finding a middle of the row townhouse with a fire on the outside of the house with extension into the first floor and extinguished the same.
