Glenn Dale Mourns The Loss Of Firefighter/Paramedic Demair Lloyd
The Officers and Members of Glenn Dale Company 18 extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Firefighter/Paramedic Demair Lloyd, as well as the entire Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department, during this profoundly difficult time.
Demair’s connection to Company 18 was a special one. He began his journey in the fire service here as a rookie, learning the foundations of the job and the values that define our profession. Years later, he returned to Company 18 as a medic, continuing his commitment to serving others with compassion, professionalism, and dedication.
The loss of a firefighter and paramedic reaches far beyond a single station or department. It is felt throughout the fire and EMS community by all who understand the calling, sacrifice, and unwavering service required to wear this badge.
As we mourn this tremendous loss, we honor Demair’s life, his service, and the impact he made on those privileged to know and work alongside him. His contributions to this profession and to the communities he served will not be forgotten.
We ask that you keep Demair’s loved ones, his brothers and sisters in the fire service, and all those grieving this loss in your thoughts and prayers.
Rest peacefully, brother. Your watch has ended, but your legacy of service will endure.
