The Officers and members of the Glenn Dale Fire Association send our thoughts and prayers to the Prince George’s County Public Safety Communications on the passing of Dispatcher Darius Osborne. Darius was also a member of the Allentown Road VFD and the Dunkirk Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. Darius was the calm reassuring voice operating on the Fire Ground Channels, he made us laugh and helped through our trying time as Chief Officers and OICs in charge. He was also known for dropping long tones before dispatching a box alarm to let everyone know it was a working fire.
