On June 10th, 2022, while returning to quarters from Ellerbie Court the crew for Tower 18 observed a large column of some coming from up the street from the station. Tower 18 searched for the location and found warehouse fire in the 7100 block of Holladay Tyler Road. Tower 18 discovered that there was fire coming from the roof and immediately started the box alarm at approximately 4:30pm. Tower 18 operated on the roof opening the roof up for the engine companies and checking for extension. Chief 18B responded and operated at the command post. Units operated on the fireground for approximately 2 and a half hours.
