In the early morning hours on October 17th, 2025, Tower 18 was dispatched and arrived as the first due truck on a townhouse fire in the 7200 Block of Mandan Road on Box 48-03. Engine Company 48 had fire showing from the first floor of a 2 story, end of the row townhome. The crew from 18 performed their assigned tasks, completing primary searches of the first floor, where they were met with heavy fire and high heat conditions. The outside team performed necessary ladder and ventilation duties of the structure. The crew remained on scene to perform extensive overhaul before returning to service. This was the second working fire in just over 24 hours for Company 18.
