On May 9th, 2022 at approximately 5:50 am Tower 18 responded to the 8300 Block of Donoghue Drive in Lanham for a reported house fire as the 3rd due truck company. The first due engine company arrived with smoke showing. When Tower 18 arrived on scene they operated as the 3rd due Truck Company placing ladders on sides Charlie and Delta as well as extensive overhaul due to hoarding conditions. Tower 18 operated for approximately 3 hours before returning to service. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by fire investigators.
