Today the Glenn Dale Fire Association hosted STATDC (Skills Today Advance Tomorrow Development Center) for a food giveaway at the station. Approximately 600 Bags of Food were given away today to families in need. Candidate Valeria Tomlin was present supporting STATDC with their efforts.

On February 20th Rescue Squad 18 was alerted to respond to the 8500 Block of Greenbelt Road as the search company for an apartment fire. Units found fire conditions in a second floor apartment and quickly extinguished it. Rescue Squad 18 conducted searches and helped check for extension.
