On November 9, 2024, Engine 181 responded first due for a vehicle fire in the 10100 Block of Martin Luther King Jr Highway. En route, communications advised they were receiving multiple calls for a building fire at the self storage facility. Engine 181 arrived to find multiple vehicles on fire next to the building on fire and extinguished the same. Crews remained on scene for 2 hours checking for extension.
