Rescue Engine 18 (w/ 6) operated as the second due engine on a small fire in Company 48’s area on May 31, 2024. Engine Company 48 was dispatched to the 6500 BLK of 99th Pl for an automatic fire alarm and arrived with smoke showing, filling the box. The crew from the Rescue Engine stretched a back up line and secured a secondary water supply, as well as checking for fire extension. The crew remained on scene for just under an hour before returning to service.
