Rescue Engine 18, Tower 18 and Chief 18 responded to box alarm 16-02 for a bedroom fire on February 7th, 2026. Engine Co. 16 and the 2nd Battalion Chief arrived to a 2 story Bowie Cape Cod with fire showing from the Delta side. The Rescue Engine took their assigned position as the second due engine, picking up Engine 16’s supply line and deploying a backup line. The Tower Ladder, originally dispatched as the search company, arrived as the first due truck and operated as such, performing primary searches which were negative. The Chief was assigned as the division 2 supervisor. 18 units remained on scene for approximately 90 minutes before returning to service.
